Overview

Case studies and lessons learned concerning fire protection mitigation strategies and applications, best practices and updates on industry consensus standards (NFPA).

 

Christopher D. Headen - Christopher has over 15 years of manufacturing/operations experience functioning as an operations leader, process engineer, project engineer, plant performance engineer, manufacturing technology leader and business unit safety manager. His experience has included process safety, paper/hydro entangling, corn wet milling, distillation, fractionation, adsorption separation, ultra-filtration, specialty chemicals, fiber optics and more. He has a Bachelor's of Science in Chemical Engineers from North Carolina A&T State University and an Executive Master's of Business Administration from JWMI. He also is a Certified Process Safety Professional (CCPSC). Christopher is currently the Worldwide Process Safety Manager for Cargill. 


Craig Froehling - Craig has 30 years of experience with Cargill. His early career involved roles as a Project Engineer and Department Supervisor for Maintenance and Packaging in the Dry Milling Industry. He spent the middle of his career as a Plant Manager in the Flour Milling Industry. For the last 10 years, Craig has been in central leading roles for Engineering/Design, Projects, Reliability, Sourcing and Best Practices Development. He Bachelor's of Science in Agricultural Engineering from North Dakota State University and serves on NFPA 61 and the NFPA Correlating Committee on Combustible Dusts. Craig is currently the Manufacturing Technology Lead for the Global Grain and Port Facilities in Cargill.
