Presenter: Bob Ballard, Victaulic Company


Bob's background is as a Mechanical Engineer, having spent my entire 27 year career as a Fire Protection R&D engineer.

I began my career with “Automatic” Sprinkler & Badger Powhatan, designing fire protection products like sprinklers and valves, and hose couplings.  I am employed by Victaulic for 18 years continuing to work with fire sprinklers, flexible fittings, valves, and suppression technology.  I am involved with organizations such as SFPE, NFPA, AFSA and the FFSA.  I am currently serving on the Board of the FSSA as well as a technical committee member of the FSSA. As a member of NFPA, I am a Principal committee member for NFPA 770, NFPA 750, and NFPA 318 as well as an alternate on NFPA 75.
